Little Miss Tippy Toes Lilla

Its so nice to be back in blog land! 

  It is a place l do not visit all that often despite wanting to, another thing for me to work on l do believe!!!  l kind of feel like l am cheating a little by making this post about a ballot, but it is an entry none the less!!!  So it counts l have decided hehe!

  

This sweet girl is a new design, created, tried and tested by me!  She is a replacement of my previous "Boutique Doll", the reason being was that after making the Baby Belle's with their sweet and delicate features, l could not quiet capture those qualities with my Boutique Belle's.

So it was back to the drawing board to see where and how l can incorporate and retain the features l wanted and remove those that l did not!  

And here she is, simply known as a little Miss Tippy Toes!

Miss Lilla

Miss Lilla is $190 plus postage!

She stands at a delightful 61cms tall but is very finely featured!  She is created from quality materials, some sourced from around the globe!  She is fully lined and double stitched!  Her face is delicately free hand embroidered!  Lilla is dripping in lace from top to bottom, her hair ribbons are vintage french lace!

Lilla's tie back skirt is removable as is her fabric bow and lovely matching brooch!   Her arms are button jointed and she stands tall in her little vinyl booties!

A lot of hours have gone into the making of this little one and l hope for her to be a piece that will be passed on from generation to generation!

 

She is not recommended as a toy for little ones but rather a decorator and heirloom piece!

Dry Spell is Over............

It has not been easy, but l have begun to claw out of the funk l was in!

And l have thought to myself that perhaps it was not such a bad thing to go through, sometimes we need to let everything fall apart in order to pick up again! 

l still sit here wondering where my path will take me, l am so unsure, but that is okay too, half the fun of reaching a destination is the journey, l am such a big believer of that!!

l have made some things here and there, but the heart has been else where, but finally, with this creation, Baby Belle Bethany, finally it felt like my heart had returned from where ever it went!

 It still feels all raw for me, l am not ready to jump in to the world of face book yet, l am enjoying the feeling of being in my small cocoon at this moment!  But am ready to stretch out just a tiny little bit with sharing Bethany!

Both little ones have been a true labor of love, every minute such a joy!  My Baby Belle's stand pretty with their extra long legs and have been dressed with beautiful lecien fabrics.  Their darling Mary Jane's are a soft vinyl!

My new Baby Belle, Miss Aurelie and matching wall hoop art!

This is a ballot for this matching gift set!

About Baby Belle Aurelie:  She is adapted from my button doll, designed, tested and created by me but with the look of my Boutique Belle's.  She stands at a sweet 51 cm tall (20 inches) with extra tall legs.
  Aurelie is made of both new and vintage materials.  Her beautiful ruffle skirt is removable, as is her her tulle underskirt! Her hair is a gorgeous wool and acrylic blend carefully hand stitched on and her face is all hand embroidered!  Aurelie's arms are button jointed!

  She is not recommended as a toy for little ones under the age of 5 due to small parts and needs to be treated with extra care.  Created as a decorator piece!

 

Aurelie comes with a matching pair of wall hoops to decorate a pretty nursery, little girls room or an office/ creative space!  The mini cloud is machine stitched with some hand sewn detail!  The larger frame consists of applique, hand embroidery and stitching also including new and vintage materials!

The large hoop is 31cms (12inches) tall and the smaller 21cms (8 inches) tall!

New Beginnings

There is something quiet wonderful about a New Year and the chance for a clean slate it provides!!!  Though l am not big on making resolutions l think its the perfect time to sit down and reevaluate where we each want to be in our lives and how we are going to get there!!!  It might be as simple as a redrafted budget, new goals to reach for, but for me its even simpler!! 

Somehow in the last year l managed to lose myself and my health!  While it was wonderful at first as l got to immerse myself into dolly making, my passion, but after a while l found that l couldn't stop and when l did l had nothing left, for my self or for my family!! 

Then it snow balled into other things! 

So that leads me back to here, New Beginnings, which for me includes, saying 'no' as often as l can!!!  Sounds terrible but for someone who is a perpetual yes sayer that is a good and necessary goal to have!!!

Slowing right down, having a plan, and a calendar that l actually keep open and laid out before me so l know what is when and where (please tell me l am not the only one that fails in that department), spending as much time with my munchkins, and stop, for me once in a while!!!  

Realistic, l think!! 

Like l said, pretty simple, but with things so out of whack l need something simple to work towards that l know l can achieve!! 

As for dolly making, its still all l want and know how to do, so that's not going to stop, l just need to learn to apply the break a little more often and l will have the chance to test out that saying 'no' plan of mine!!

No other promises, no grand plans, just back to basics!!!  

And this week l wanted to start Natalie Creating with some dollies that just came to me as l went along, no pressure, no time frame, just because l wanted to!!!
